Giving Dogs a Second Chance

Us founders have proudly worked with NYC Second Chance Rescue for years, serving as foster parents and opening our homes to dozens of dogs in need. Fostering has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and has allowed us to witness firsthand how dogs rescued from even the most heartbreaking situations can blossom into happy, confident companions through proper love and care.

Inspired by this experience, Laika’s Landing is giving back: now, on every off-leash adventure, one vetted shelter dog joins the fun, and 5% of adventure pack proceeds support Second Chance Rescue’s lifesaving work.

** Founded in 2009, NYC Second Chance Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has saved over 15,000 lives, focusing on large breed dogs and cats in critical need - the animals that make up most euthanasias in the U.S. Nine out of ten animals they rescue were once set to be euthanized at municipal shelters. Now, every Laika’s adventure supports NYCSCR and helps save lives.
